The statistics of CVSC-SOFRES MEDIA showed that,among 31 cities of provincial capital and 53 center cities,the average rating of Hunan Satellite TV took the sixth place in all satellite channels in China, the first place in provincial satellite TV channels and the first place in Hunan in 2004.

  Since 2003, the rating share of Hunan Satellite TV have exceeded 2% in national market, and it has become the sole provincial satellite channel in all provincial satellite channels in China whose rating share have exceeded 2%, approaching to the channels directly subject to CCTV, and it is the sole satellite channel with a stepwise rise of rating in past three years.

  In 2004, Hunan Satellite TV advertisement revenue exceeded 0.5 billion Yuan, breaking the history record. It takes the lead in all provincial satellite TV channels in China (Single Channel).
