    January 1, 1997, HNTV-1 programs were transmittedby Asiasat 2, with the call sign "HNTV".Since its broadcasting, Hunan TV has sponsored aseries of famous columns such as Happy Citadel, Dating ofRose, Evening News, New Youth, Music Forever, Free Talk,etc., which exerted an extensive influence and established astrong brand position in China.

    The "Wind of Happy" and the"Fragrance of Rose" are quite fashionable at both sides of Yangtze River. The Happy Citadel is even recognized as the¡°revolutionary forerunner of domestic TV variety program¡±and the "first brand of variety entertainment program", whichhas changed the thought of TV practitioners and audiencesin China.
